Schema Checker
This tool fetches your raw HTML the same way an AI crawler sees it and flags FAQPage, Organization, and sameAs schema — including any structured data that's invisible because it gets injected by JavaScript after the page loads. Enter a URL to see what ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can actually read.
Schema is page-specific — FAQPage and Article schema usually live on blog posts and product pages, not the homepage. Enter the exact page URL you want to check.
What is structured data?
Structured data is machine-readable markup — usually JSON-LD — that declares facts about a page: what kind of thing it describes, who published it, what entities it references. Schema.org defines the vocabulary. AI engines use it to confidently extract and cite information.
Why AI can't read JavaScript-injected schema
Most AI crawlers fetch raw HTML and stop there. They don't run a JavaScript engine the way a browser does. If your schema is added by GTM, a React effect, or any other client-side script, the crawler sees an empty page where the schema should be. Google's crawler does render JS, but ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude largely do not.
Entity graph vs. entity cloud
The entity graph is the JSON-LD on your site declaring your brand identity and relationships to machines. The entity cloud is the set of named entities woven into your prose — people, products, places, concepts — that signal topical authority. AI engines need both.
How to make schema AI-readable
Render schema server-side so it ships in the initial HTML response. Use your framework's head/metadata API, output JSON-LD from your template engine, or bake it in at build time for static sites. Avoid GTM and client-side injection for anything you want AI engines to cite.
